Local elections: "Albufeira is Yours" coalition presents candidates for parish councils

The coalition "Albufeira é Tua" presented the candidates for the parishes of Albufeira and Olhos de Água, as well as Ferreiras, for the next local elections, on Saturday, September 20th.

In Olhos de Água, Mónica Félix presented her candidacy for the Parish Council of Albufeira and Olhos de Água , as well as her entire team.

He announced the proposals for the next four years, highlighting the creation of a mobile service center, increased urban cleaning and street cleaning, increased support for schools, strengthening protocols with clubs, sports associations, and social action organizations, and the creation of study rooms with free internet.

Mónica Félix had a strong and convincing intervention, having served as a municipal deputy for the last four years, through the Albufeira Prometida Movement, considering it "to have been a great moment of learning and getting to know the municipality, but especially the parish of Albufeira and Olhos de Água."

"Working for all parishioners is an unwavering commitment for the next four years, if elected," she added.

In Ferreiras, in the afternoon of the same day, it was the turn of the head of the list for the Parish Council , Paulo Costa, to introduce himself and announce the team he proposes to govern the parish over the next four years.

The candidate reinforced his commitment to governing the parish with principles and values, of someone who knows how to give and honor his word.

A man of work, as he describes himself, he mentioned the main themes that guide the candidacy: "creation of a support office for the population, reinforcement of urban cleaning and street cleaning, creation and requalification of leisure and informal sports areas, strengthening protocols with clubs, associations and school groups, creation of a space for the GNR and a safe school, and with the City Council, requalification of the entrance to Ferreiras with the relocation of the existing cement factory."

"The presence of several people at the events where the coalition has presented its candidates has been a constant, demonstrating the great desire for change, which the entire municipality of Albufeira so aspires to," the collective said in a statement.

On behalf of the "Albufeira é Tua" campaign, Victor Ferraz, candidate for City Council, and Carla Vieira, candidate for Municipal Assembly, spoke at both locations, having the opportunity to explain, in both parishes, what motivates them to take on this public responsibility. Governing for the people and with the people in a humble and collaborative way, in order to guarantee a future for all generations, but especially for the youngest.
